If Joto isn’t wiping effectively there are a few things to check.
The latest version of the Joto app includes ‘Erase settings’. If Joto doesn’t erase first time you can increase this setting to two or three cycles – as the wiper and surface settle in the wiping quality will improve and this setting can be decreased again.
A few other things to note:
- If you’re using a new wiper for the first time it may take a few goes to settle in so don’t panic if it doesn’t erase first time.
- Try cleaning the surface with a microfibre cloth.
- If Joto’s ink hasn’t been refreshed recently try topping it up – old ink can be more difficult to erase.
- If a drawing has been left on Joto’s surface for more than a couple of days it may become more difficult to wipe. Try wiping again or clean the old drawing by hand using a microfibre cloth.
If Joto isn’t wiping effectively after extended use then it may be time to replace the wiper foam.
